Ridgewood Radio features live sets by adventurous bands and experimental musicians, recorded at clubs and galleries running along the L-train corridor through Brooklyn and Queens from Williamsburg to the Rockaways. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of Ridgewood, “where you’ll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home…”.

Outpost Artist Resources has served the arts community since 1991, providing access to the latest in video editing technology and now custom programming for physical computing, at well below market rates – one of the first digital, non-linear editing facilities to open in New York City, focused on producing art video. In 2003, the Cuts and Burns Residency Program began, providing artists free access to the Outpost facility, editors, sound technicians and programmers, and, if needed, lodging.

WFMU is an independent, listener-supported, freeform radio station broadcasting at 91.1FM in New York, 90.1FM in the Hudson Valley, 91.9FM in Rockland County, and online at It is currently the longest running freeform radio station in the United States.The station also broadcasts to the Hudson Valley and Lower Catskills in New York, Western New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania via its 90.1 signal at WMFU in Mount Hope, NY. The station maintains an extensive online presence at WFMU.ORG which includes live audio streaming in several formats, over 8 years of audio archives, podcasts and a popular blog.
