UPDATED! Trick or Treat? Upcoming Halloween Events in Ridgewood!

Ah Halloween! Probably America’s favorite holiday for weird people like me. All Hallows’ Eve is a Christianized feast initially influenced by Celtic harvest festivals.

Anyways, for your convenience, I have found a bunch of events you can dress up to. They range from bar events, dance parties, to costume contests. Enter these places…if you dare! I also added a few from Maspeth and Glendale! Mwahahahha! I will be updating this list as it get’s closer to the 31st!

Harry Houdini was a Hungarian-American illusionist and stunt performer, noted for his sensational escape acts. Harry Houdini died of peritonitis, on October 31, 1926 in Room 401 at Detroit’s Grace Hospital, aged 52. In his final days, he optimistically held to a strong belief that he would recover, but his last words before dying were reportedly, “I’m tired of fighting.”

Unfortunately, the cemetery will be closed on October 31.
